The Cliffs and South Street Partners announced today that Rob Duckett will assume the role of president of The Cliffs and vice president of operations for South Street Partners, effective June 1, 2019. In this role, Duckett will oversee day-to-day operations of The Cliffs’ three divisions: Cliffs Clubs, Cliffs Land, and Cliffs Realty.

Real estate sales by Walnut Cove Realty and Cliffs Realty totaled $24 million in the first quarter of 2019, up nearly 30 percent from the same period last year. In the Asheville Region, The Cliffs at Walnut Cove saw a 175 percent increase in sales volume over the same period last year.

Under new ownership as of February, The Cliffs logged a nearly 30 percent increase of Q1 sales over last year’s numbers and also broke ground on The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards Lakehouse.

Charlotte’s South Street Partners has acquired The Cliffs, seven private luxury residential communities built across 20,000 acres in the Blue Ridge region of North and South Carolina for an undisclosed amount. South Street said it has a development plan for new amenities and future neighborhoods at The Cliffs' mountain, lake, and Asheville properties.
